TEXAS AID HOME FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS WITH CHILD HOSPITAL DRIVEER WHO MURDERED 3 CHILDREN The Florida Department of Children and Families says the family of a man who shot and killed three children at a Miami school on Sunday was being housed at a local home for the children and their families.
The Orlando Sentinel reports the father of the children shot at Parkview High School in Miami was being held at a home for children and his family on Tuesday.
He was charged with three counts of murder and one count of child abuse, the department said.
The father, Jose Hernandez-Gomez, 27, is being held on a $25,000 bond in the Broward County jail, the newspaper reports.
A neighbor said the mother, also named Joaquin Rodriguez, and her two children were in the home when the shooting occurred.
The department did not immediately release a description of the suspect.
The Sentinel says Hernandez-Guzman is a Hispanic man who is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.
